If the myth of identity is who I think I am, the myth of purpose is what I think I’m here to prove, achieve, or become in order to matter.

It’s the belief that my life must amount to something specific to be worthy.
Usually something impressive, productive, visible, and successful.

Human Design says this is another layer of conditioning. It’s not truth.

Myth Of Purpose

Most of us were taught:

• “Find your purpose.”
• “What do you want to be when you grow up?”
• “Make something of yourself.”
• “Leave a legacy.”

Which may sound inspiring, but subtly says, “Your existence isn’t enough unless it produces something extraordinary.”

“We were taught to search for purpose as if it were a hidden treasure, when it has always been the trail beneath our feet.”

Interested in dropping the purpose myth, which keeps circulating beliefs like:

• There’s one right calling
• You can miss it, so stay preoccupied about it
• You must strive to deserve it
• It lives somewhere in the future
