Why ‘Parenting by Design’ Matters

I didn’t grow up thinking, “One day I’ll teach parenting.”

But I did grow up noticing how often people are loved deeply and still misunderstood.

Human Design gave me language for things I felt but couldn’t explain growing up. Like why I needed space before making decisions, why my energy didn’t always match expectations, why being “me” sometimes felt like a lot even when it was exactly right.

As an adult, it got me thinking, “What would it be like if all children were raised by someone who understood them?”

Not someone who tried to fix them or put them into their own indoctrinated mold of what they knew as parents or guardians, but someone who could see how their child is uniquely wired, and meet them there.

That’s what my course, Parenting by Design, is about.

It’s not about being a perfect parent (no one’s signing up for that pressure). It’s about becoming a more attuned one. It’s about understanding that your child isn’t random, but that they’re literally designed a certain way. This course helps parents recognize how their child processes emotions, makes decisions, and interacts with the world.

When you can meet children in that design, there’s less friction, more trust, and a whole lot more room for them to become who they were designed to be.

This matters to me because I’ve lived the difference between being guided and being understood. And if I can help even a handful of parents offer their kids the freedom to live and express themselves from their own unique truth, well, that feels like a pretty meaningful place for all of us to start.
