Why My ‘Parenting by Design’ Course Matters

I didn’t grow up thinking, “One day I’ll teach parenting.”
But I did grow up noticing how often people are loved deeply and still misunderstood.

Human Design gave me language for things I felt but couldn’t explain growing up. Like why I needed space before making decisions, why my energy didn’t always match expectations, why being “me” sometimes felt like a lot even when it was exactly right.

As an adult, it got me thinking, “What would it have been like if all children were raised by someone who understood that?”

Not someone who tried to fix them or put them into a mold of only what they knew as parents or guardians?. But someone who could see how they are wired and meet them there.

That’s what Parenting by Design is about.

It’s not about being a perfect parent (no one’s signing up for that pressure).
It’s about becoming a more attuned one. Understanding that your child isn’t random, but that they’re designed a certain way. This course helps parents recognize how their child processes emotions, makes decisions, and interacts with the world.

When you can meet them in that design, there’s less friction, more trust,
and a whole lot more room for them to become who they already are.

This matters to me because I’ve lived the difference between being guided and being understood. And if I can help even a handful of parents offer that to their kids, well, that feels like a pretty meaningful place to start.
